There are tons of reasons to get dressed up during the holiday season, from the company holiday party or a festive Happy Hour with friends to a fancy family affair. We partnered with blogger pals Krystal Bick, Nia Alleyne, and Krista Robertson to get decked out in their favorite holiday party dresses from our 2017 assortment for a fun-filled night on the town. In the lookbook, you’ll find top trends such as interesting necklines (high neck, off-the-shoulder, plunging V-neck…), embroidery and velvet, jewel tones, and, of course, some shimmer and shine. Read on to get inspired for your own holiday outfit.
Scene 1
The ladies start the evening dressed in cocktail dresses in an array of jewel tones. Sparkly baubles, statement earrings and an extra swipe of lipstick and mascara complete their looks for a less formal holiday gathering.
Scene 2
Next, our gals show that formal holiday dresses go beyond basic black. Black lace over a nude slip dress is elegant and sexy. Intricate gold embroidery adds drama to a strapless mermaid dress. In addition, navy is a fresh alternative to black, especially in a formal fabric like satin. The group of friends grab their clutches, hail a cab, and head out into the night.
Scene 3
Finally, they arrive at their destination ready for holiday cheers! Classic holiday colors look stylish in effortless silhouettes with current details. A timeless curve-hugging red dress is modernized with a cold shoulder neckline. A black slip dress looks fresh with a deco glitter print. Double straps, a deep V-neck and allover shimmer update an emerald green A-line gown. Trendy (and affordable) accessories and shoes such as extra-long drop earrings, ankle strap sandals, and faux-fur wraps are fashionable additions to any outfit through the New Year!
