When it comes to planning a summer wedding, bridesmaid dress colors play a major role in setting the overall look and feel of the day. For Summer 2026 bridesmaid color trends, we’re seeing a clear move away from matching dresses toward curated color palettes that allow for more personality, flexibility, and self‑expression. To better understand which summer bridesmaid colors are rising in popularity—and how brides are choosing palettes for outdoor and warm‑weather weddings—we tapped into our Bridesmaid Merchandising and Buying team for their expert insight. From bold, vibrant hues to soft pastels and modern neutrals, here’s what they predict will define the season ahead.

1. What bridesmaid colors do you see defining Summer 2026, and what’s driving their popularity?

"Today we are seeing bridal parties less about one color and more about a curated palette of tones that pair well together and compliment the overall aesthetic of the event. The shift is being driven by self-expression and having your event showcase your personality.

The most exciting trend that we will being seeing this summer are bold, juicy colors that we are calling the ‘Hot Tropics’ trend with saturated shades of pinks, oranges, yellow and teals.

We will also continue to see pastel shades with our ‘Spring Garden’ trend, that include softer shades of light green, blues, pinks and lavender.

Tonal parties in light to dark shades of green, blues and purples will also be popular this summer. As well as neutral shades of champagne for the bride who is looking for a minimal aesthetic."

2. Are you noticing a preference for softer, muted summer tones—or bolder, more saturated colors this season?

"Juicy, bolder shades are making a big come back this summer! In both bridesmaids dresses and floral arrangements."

4. Which color feels like a fresh update on a classic summer bridesmaid look?

"Sky Blue. For the past few years shades of blue have been trending in bridal parties. Especially with the rise in popularity of the 'Something Blue Crew'. Dusty Blue has been popular and Marine is always a summer classic. Our shade of Sky Blue is a lighter shade of blue, but it is slightly more vibrant. It also pairs well with other colors or brings a pop to a bridal party that is in shades of blue."

5. Is there a color you think will stand out for Summer 2026 that brides may not be considering yet?

"Yellow. This is not what you would consider a typical bridesmaids color, but depending on the shade, it can either be fun and vibrant or soft and pretty. We have a Pale Yellow shade that is soft and buttery, and pairs beautifully with other pastels. We also have our new shade Sunflower, which is brighter, cheery and more saturated. Both look amazing on all skins tones and sure to bring joy to any event summer event!"

Overall, Summer 2026 bridesmaid color palettes reflect a more personalized and expressive approach to wedding style. Brides are embracing everything from bold, saturated colors for destination and outdoor weddings to softer pastels, tonal greens, and modern neutral shades for a timeless aesthetic. Whether you’re drawn to vibrant summer bridesmaid colors, nature‑inspired palettes, or updated classics like sky blue and buttery yellow, the focus is on creating a cohesive look that feels authentic to your celebration. These bridesmaid dress color trends offer inspiration for building a palette that photographs beautifully, complements your setting, and brings your wedding vision to life.
