On an April evening in New York, David’s Bridal and Vera Wang Bride gathered editors, stylists, creators, and friends of the house for the debut of our newest collection—a New York Bridal Fashion Week moment built around a single idea: romance shaped by structure, softness defined by form.
We called the night Sculpted Romance. Every detail, from the florals to the lighting to the gown on the last model, answered to it.
The evening unfolded on the seventy-second floor of Summit One Vanderbilt, where floor-to-ceiling glass turned the Manhattan skyline into a backdrop and the room itself into part of the story. A palette of black, white, leather, and chrome pulled the space toward something quieter and more editorial—architectural, restrained, considered. The kind of room that asks you to slow down.

White calla lilies, hydrangeas, peonies, and roses were staged with controlled drama—not overflowing, not decorative, but deliberate. Each arrangement behaved like a silhouette of its own: clean lines, negative space, a feeling of discipline holding softness in place. The florals didn’t fill the room. They framed it.

Roaming models and styled mannequins moved through the space in gowns from the new Vera Wang Bride collection, each placed on sculpted platforms inside their own floral vignettes. Looks evolved through the evening, unfolding at a pace closer to a private viewing than a runway. Guests could circle a gown, step in close, see the hand of the maker.
The beauty brief was deliberate and specific: a neutral palette that lets skin read like skin, hair with natural texture and quiet movement—a relaxed low bun, a sleek pony, soft braided texture. Nothing overworked. Nothing performed.

Beauty for the evening was led by the team at Glamsquad, whose on-set styling carried that point of view from the first look to the last. The leader in on-demand beauty services, Glamsquad brings certified professional hairstylists, makeup artists, and nail professionals directly to your home, hotel, or event—making expert, at-home glam services accessible for everyone. With beauty appointments available in as little as two hours, Glamsquad delivers beauty on demand exactly when and where you need it, so you can be event-ready for wherever the moment takes you.

A live string musician played throughout the evening, pulling the room toward something closer to a private dinner than a fashion presentation—intimate, unhurried, designed for conversation. Between looks, the room filled with strings, soft light, and the sound of a city at night.
Among the night’s most personal moments was the Love Vera Wang engraving station led by Carisse Design Studio Calligraphy & Stationery, where guests had their bottle of Vera’s signature fragrance personalized with their initials. A scent carried home. A keepsake made, quite literally, theirs.

As the evening wound down, guests left with a keepsake bag thoughtfully curated by Carlos Falci—a small collection of things to take the feeling of the night with them:
Ghirardelli Chocolates
KIND Patches (the Super Glow Patches and NAD+ Patches!)
Patchology Eye Gels
Lumene Liquid Blush
