TRULY ZAC POSEN FALL 2014

For Fall 2014, Truly Zac Posen unveils a collection that encompasses hallmarks of golden-era Hollywood glamour, with a tailored rigor that both enchants a woman's natural forms and gives her lavish shapes and embroideries to rejoice her most alluring self.

Says Zac Posen, "The collection showcases royally opulent silhouettes rendered in undulating curves and luxurious, sculptural volumes that perfectly marry the idea of a romantic, fairytale wedding. The architectural cuts of the skirts are juxtaposed with the simplicity of the bodices through the manipulation of fabrications and tailoring techniques."

The bridal gowns are drawn from Posen's artisanal craftsmanship, figure-flattering shapes, and red-carpet heritage. A strapless, draped bodice blossoms from a tulle ball skirt enhanced with lace appliques and embroidered lace panels. An ivory Mikado fit-and-flare gown, with Chantilly cap sleeves and touches of faggoting details throughout, embraces the body and falls to the floor in a dramatic tulle skirt. A knee-skimming, corseted Mikado dress with angular seaming is balanced with featherweight ton-sur-ton embroidery to celebrate bold femininity.

The social occasion dresses reveal a softer dimension of anatomical constructions. A pale pink satin dress falls across the body with a fluid, organic front drape. Rich, gold-colored laurel jacquard is lent a structured ease with arched cuffs at the neckline. The circular tiers of an embellished Soutache skirt are fashioned with both ethereal simplicity and exaggerated volume on a strapless dress.

For Fall 2014, Truly Zac Posen also debuts a complete collection of accessories including shoes, jewelry, and head-pieces. The footwear comes in a romantic palette ranging from deep burgundy to ivory as well as a black and nude lace overlay combination. The hallmarks of the Art Nouveau school influence the collection's earrings and necklaces. Crafted in elegant silver crystals, they enhance with the proportions of the dresses they complement.

Together, the collection comprises a personal love note to brides everywhere.
