THE PERFECT COMBINATION
Personalize Your Look with Mix and Match Options
The headpiece and veil combination creates one of the most striking and distinguishing features of a bride's attire. Finding the perfect accoutrements will add an wonderful element of beauty and romance that no other accessory can provide.
Creating the ideal ensemble may seem overwhelming at first, but it's fun and easy when you understand the functions of each piece. We're here to help you make sense of it all. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to layer different elements like a tiara, blusher, fingertip veil, and cathedral veil to create a truly elegant appearance. Best of all, multiple layers make it easy to vary your look from the ceremony to the reception.
COMBINATION IS KEY
Wearing several pieces may sound a bit daunting; however, each one serves a different purpose. All can be worn during the wedding ceremony, but brides typically remove one or two veils for the reception.
A blusher veil is traditionally used to cover the face before the ceremony, then removed or flipped back for the reception.
A shorter, elbow length or fingertip veil can be worn the entire day and night-from ceremony through reception.
A cathedral veil is almost always worn in combination with shorter veils and removed after the ceremony so the bride can move freely-and dance the night away-at the reception.
Tiaras, headbands, combs and hair pins are used to complete the bridal ensemble and enhance the coordinated details of your gown. These decorative pieces also add a touch of sparkle and glamour for both the ceremony and the reception.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
Have fun experimenting with all your options. Choose from a variety of veil lengths, shapes, colors and edging, paired with your preference of tiara, headband, or comb and type of embellishment-to design the headpiece of your dreams that reflects your individual style.
