Satin Gown with Beaded Waist and Illusion Back Style SWG564
I came in looking for a mermaid, lace overlay gown.
I did have this dress on my saved list as a "why the heck not" dress to try on if they happened to have it in my size.
After trying on 5 dresses that were what I thought I wanted, and hating every single one of them, I was hoping they would have this gown.
Unfortunately, my sales lady said they only had it in a size 4 which was NOT going to budge past my hips. I was SO upset. I was about to walk out of the store without a dress because I was so unhappy with how I was looking in everything they were putting on me.
Two more dresses later, another consultant came over with this dress in my perfect size!!
The second I came out of the dressing room my mom and sister started crying. Mind you, my sister HATES weddings... So I knew this one was something special. They told me it was the one before I even saw it in the mirror.
It's so comfortable! No crazy slip or corset bra needed! I had push up cups added and am having the draped piece at the bust pinned to the dress in a sweetheart shape so it doesn't sag.
I would HIGHLY recommend a pair of Spanx though because satin is VERY unforgiving.
I just went in for my alterations today and decided on the ballroom bustle.
I love this dress and can't wait to marry my best friend in it in October :)

My gown, ya'll!
I went into my appointment knowing 100% that I wanted a lace gown. I really didn't want to try on anything but lace. Prior to my appointment I had saved this dress to my favorite's list but later deleted it because I was so dead set on lace. However, I really wanted an illusion back. I tried on 10 dresses maybe and then I explained to my consultant how badly I wanted an illusion back and she pulled this dress. I put it on and I knew it was mine. It has a train but it isn't overpowering and the front is just as beautiful as the back. I was in debate with a lace gown and this one but the back of this dress is what sold me! I am so happy with my choice!

I purchased this dress about 2 weeks ago for my wedding in November. I originally went in looking for a tea length dress with minimal beading/decoration. My mother REALLY wanted me to try on a full length dress. While we were looking at dresses online before the appointment she saw this one and it made her catch her breath. Needless to say, I decided to try it on to make her happy. It was the first dress I tried on at David's I knew the moment I looked in the mirror that it was "The One" lol nothing else even came close - I didn't want to take it off and I had another appointment scheduled for later that afternoon that i had NO desire to go to! The beading is well done and VERY complimentary to my figure (I'm a bit on the busty side - solid D's), the straps are wide enough that they offer great support and don't cut into my shoulders but they still look elegant, the back is STUNNING, and the fabric is so silky and light and clings in all the right places! There are 2 different ways to bussel this dress and they both look amazing! I am so excited for my dress to get here!! I'll post pictures and a follow up review once the wedding happens, but I am positive my groom will be blown away!! Way to go, Mom!! :)

A beautiful vintage dress
I just wore this dress this past Saturday for my wedding. I loved it! When I started dress shopping I was planning to by a simple A Line Tulle dress with minimal embellishment. My bridesmaid pulled this dress and I fell in love. The back of this dress is beautiful. I felt gorgeous in it the whole evening and it was so comfortable. In addition, the straps helped me feel very secure (especially considering I am a busty bride-larger D cups). My husband's breath was taken away when he saw me in it. I paired it with a cathedral length ivory veil for my ceremony. The seamstress at my store did an amazing job with my bustle so that the whole train tied up under the skirt for the evening.
