Planning the Perfect Quinceañera on the Budget

Quinceañeras can get pretty expensive, but with these simple tips you can easily throw a fabulous party without spending mucho dinero!

Get creative. Instead of spending money on store bought decorations, why not make them yourself? Choose from table centerpieces and quinceañera party favors–buy the materials and gather up some friends and family for a night of DIY projects. Pinterest is a great place to get ideas and inspiration.

Narrow your guest list. By limiting the number of guests on your list you’ll be able to save tons of money on food, and invitation costs—allowing you to get exactly what you want, like these invitations from David’s Bridal!

Even though we’re gearing up for fall, I already have spring on my mind. After all, I did just see amazing spring 2013 collections come down the runway during New York Fashion Week – and a new season means new trends! Stay on the forefront of fashion and check out the hottest formal trends for spring 2013 that you can wear right now.

From soft watercolor patterns to bold florals, the trend looks so chic in formal wear — and it was everywhere on the runway at the Naeem Khan, Monique Lhuillier and Reem Acra shows. This printed gown is a nice way to work the trend.

It looks like the slit dress is here to stay, at least for another season – and I’m sure Angelina Jolie and her infamous right leg would be thrilled to hear the news.
