Katrina Heads to the Young Hollywood Awards
by Katrina Mitzeliotis
My company organizes two award shows a year—the Style Awards in the fall and the Young Hollywood Awards in the summer. I always love heading out to LA, and in this case, I was heading out for the Young Hollywood Awards.
While lots of planning may go into the show, the day of the show is all about getting glam! My first stop was to the Jose Eber salon in Beverly Hills, where they did my makeup for the night. I decided on a bold lip, so to balance it out I kept my eye makeup much lighter—but we didn’t neglect the lashes! Personally, I feel my best for a big event when my lashes are looking long and luscious.
Next, I headed over to a salon a couple of blocks away where Kerastase gave me the perfect waves. Originally I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my hair, but the go-to look never lets me down! While the style seemed so soft, I was so impressed with how well they stayed throughout the night. When in doubt, it’s best to rely on a dress you really like to wear—that way you’re confident knowing you look great.
I slipped into my dress and finished the look off with key accessories. Since I’ve worn this dress before to a recent wedding, I changed it up with statement jewelry—a cocktail ring, gold cuff and bold earrings. If you’re looking to re-wear a dress to a wedding or special event, a textured clutch like this one from David’s Bridal or bold fashion shoe, can completely change your look.

After working the red carpet, I got to enjoy the show and after party. With celebs like Bella Thorne, Sophia Bush, January Jones and Hailee Steinfeld in attendance, the turnout was great and the night was so much fun!

Complete Your Look with Last-Minute Prom Accessories
by Cassandra Morris
You’ve got the dress, the shoes and have scoured the internet looking for photos of the perfect prom hairstyles. Now you just need last-minute prom accessories to bring your whole look together—check these out!
If your toes are begging for some sparkle, pop on these adorable pearl and crystal shoe clips. It’s like getting a whole new pair of prom shoes for only $6! Best of all, you can use them over and over after prom.
Customize your dress by adding a crystal pin to your skirt like Michelle Williams did for the Oscars, or pin it on the strap of your one-shoulder gown. It will add instant glam to your dress!
Make your prom hairstyle totally unique by adding pearl and crystal hairpins. Use them to secure a side chignon, sweep a few tendrils off your face, or decorate your elaborately twisted up ‘do. There’s no reason your hair shouldn’t sparkle, too!
Your clutch should complement your outfit while holding all of your prom-night essentials: lip gloss, school ID, your cell and a few extra emergency dollars. This one comes in gold or silver, so it’s sure to match whichever color dress you choose.
Picture-Perfect Spring Prints
by Nicole Brewer
When you’re dress shopping this season, you’re bound to see strong prints like psychedelic explosions, tribal motifs and wild animal prints, but it’s the simple graphics and flower power that are sure to stand out. With bright candy colors, cool pastels and warm earth tones, you’re sure to find a print palette that speaks to your personality and penchant for playful fashion that’s downright fun to wear.
Pretty meets edgy with this spring-chic top. Its bold, floral print makes a powerful statement, while the soft ruffle and shoulder baring asymmetry showcases femininity.

I love this top so much–I’ve worn it with a long skirt for a formal look and with tailored pants for a work event.

The blue version of my new favorite floral breathes new life into the petal print. This strapless silhouette transitions seamlessly from the office (with a cute cardigan sweater) to the cocktail party.

What better way to liven up neutrals than with a print accessory? These fashion shoes are sure to put a smile on your face and brighten those not-so-sunny days.

Not ready to wear florals or buy into prints you may not like next season? No worries. Simply tote a pretty print bag or this charming clutch. Wear it easily with all white, or dare to pair it with another rich, solid hue.
