The awards season is upon us and this year’s Golden Globes looks to be a promising display of the latest fashions with a stylish flock of leading ladies as nominees. Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, and Lea Michele are just a few of the Hollywood beauties to hit the red carpet this year. These ladies have made few if any fashion missteps; how will they do this year?

I’m particularly excited to Miss Natalie Portman and Lea Michele. Representing young talent for both the silver and television screens, both are also known for impeccable taste. The obvious dress pick for Natalie would be an edgy yet refined choice from Rodarte, however, the mom-to-be may opt for something more soft and flowing from the latest runways of Vena Cava or Dior.

Lea Michele, although a newcomer, has yet to disappoint displaying classic yet super femme trumpet and ball gown looks on red carpets of the past. Hopefully we can expect to see a stunner off the Oscar De La Renta catwalk as I’m always a fan.

Some of the latest Spring trends I’m hoping to see are full tea length vintage inspired gowns, beautifully draped ethereal chiffon dresses, and heavy metallic embellishments. Let’s hope no one falls victim to the fashion police; although its makes for interesting water cooler talk, it just hurts the eyes.
