Mad About Mad Men? Try These Retro-Inspired Emmy-Viewing Party Fashion & Cool Cocktail Ideas!

Award shows are all about the drama and dress up for celebs, but that doesn’t mean fans can’t get in on the action!  With the 64^th annual Primetime Emmy Awards right around the corner (Sunday, September 23^rd), expect the trend of themed Emmy-viewing parties – inspired by today’s hottest shows – to continue, according to Susan J. Ashbrook, a fashion veteran with over twenty years of red carpet experience and the author of  Will Work for Shoes: The Business Behind Red Carpet Product Placement.

Ashbrook, – who has recently dressed Nicole Scherzinger and Jessica Chastain in Herve L. Leroux, as well as Jennifer Lopez and Welsh singer and Dancing with the Stars darling Katherine Jenkins in Basler – predicts that with 17 Emmy nominations, fan favorite Mad Men will no doubt be a big winner and a popular choice for festive soirees.  With fun 1960’s fashion and drinks as colorful as the characters, there will be no lack of inspiration to draw from. So, enthusiasts that are “mad” about Mad Men and a good party should try these styles and cool cocktails on for size:
