The Best Graduation Dresses
by Cassandra Morris
After spending four years with your high school friends, it’s finally time to graduate! To make sure you leave a lasting impression, not only on your class but in all of those photos your family is bound to take, make sure your dress is something that’s a perfect fit. Here are some of my favorite graduation dresses from David’s Bridal.
Long & Elegant
If your commencement ceremonies are on the formal side, you’ll want something long and flowing… but not as poufy as a prom dress. This classic column dress has flattering lines, flower detailing at the hip and a demure hemline that will take you from tossing your hat to after-party dancing.
This white dress says “bring it on, world!” The ruffles are feminine while the tiered hemline adds extra detail that will set you apart from everyone else. Best of all, you can style this dress with a stack of bracelets, cocktail ring and colorful shoes to really make it your own.
Boho and romantic, this dress is perfect for the girl who wants a grad dress that’s true to heirloom style. The sheer cap sleeves are delicate and conservative enough for any ceremony, while the criss-cross ruching is ultra-flattering. The best part of all? The floral burnout details!
Short & Stylish
If your style is a little more fun and flirty, and your grad ceremony doesn’t require a long hem, consider a mini dress like this one. Packed with so many gorgeous details like beaded embroidery, a sweetheart neckline and a pickup hem, you’ll turn every head when you grab that diploma.
