Jeannie’s Style Picks for Sunday’s Primetime Emmy Awards

Wait. Do you hear that teapot? Oh, wait. It’s just me squealing over the 2010 Primetime Emmy’s being just three days away.
Yes! The countdown begins and already I’m so anxious planning out my interviews, as I cover the best and the not-so-much dressed stars of red carpet for my shows, Extra TV and E’s Daily 10. I can literally feel the excited stress for designers, as they whip out their customized couture for celebs.
Last year, it was the avant-garde January Jones, who made it to Mai Faves list, along with Blake Lively, who sizzled in drop dead red. This year, I’m dying to see if Jane Lynch brings that bod out of her tracksuit and see more of Sofia Vergara’s caliente curves…just a couple of names from my must see’s, of course. Which means I’m forecasting stars will definitely stun us with shape.

Whether clingy, flowy, or both, stars can really use shaping to bring in mega wow factor, if It’s got the right fit. This is what I love about David’s Bridal’s fantastic new Party Dress Collection and their great special occasion dresses. There’s such an incredible selection to truly bring out the best bod parts we love, or often times as I find on my show How Do I Look, need to love more.
Like this long chiffon beaded gown – a haute style for any dame wanting to show off sculpted shoulders, yet at the same time tuck in any area of a slight tummy. And, I can’t get over this long, chiffon strapless dress with its beaded bodice. It’s perfect for every fashion maven wanting to be on trend, revealing a demure décolletage, and still stay comfortable without cling. I’ll tell you if I were dressing Leighton Meester for this year, I would surely suggest the One Shoulder Chiffon Dress with 3D Floral Detail. She’s got the legs to flash and the sass to rock this frock with adorable attitude.
Yikes! Does it matter that I don’t care who wins? Or that I want to start getting dressed like now? Got to go …heart you friends!
