Wedding Wednesday! “Real Bride” Chandra Shares About The Past 2 Months Of Marriage with Daniel!

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Well, it’s been two blissfully wonderful months of marriage with my hubby! I can’t believe how fast time is flying. To say that marrying Daniel was the best decision of my life would be an understatement. Call me crazy, but I feel like married life is the best time of my life…it’s like having your best friend with you all the time and not ever getting sick of them AND you get to have slumber parties every night! SCORE!

The cutest thing happened this weekend…my hubby and I took a mini-vacay to Austin, Texas for the weekend just to hang out & ride bikes while we explored the city. On Sunday, we met up with some friends to watch the game & they asked us how long we have been together. Daniel, without hesitation and a huge smile on his face replied “28 months! And we’ve been married for 2 months!” I don’t know why…but in that moment, it made me fall in love with him all over again. But really, I think that’s what marriage is all about…falling in love with your spouse all over again, every single day. What have I learned in the two short months of being married? Marriage is work, but it’s the most rewarding work out there. You have to work for what you want, and not just assume it will work itself out. Communication truly is key in having a happy and loving marriage. You can’t just assume that your husband automatically knows what you’re thinking. They’re not mind readers, so don’t fluff such a daunting task off on them. Marriage requires a mutual respect for each other and a constant effort towards fanning the flame that you have together to keep your love alive and thriving! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us, and working towards reaching our dreams together!  The possibilities are endless, and I couldn’t ask for a better man to spend the rest of my life with.
