David’s Bridal Opens in Hollywood! Some Hot “Holly-Day” Bridal Trends

I am OVER excited that David’s Bridal is opening up their brand new store in West Hollywood on Friday, December 6th. The magnificent experience of planning your dream wedding includes choosing your dress. This is a fun and memorable experience that requires your nearest and dearest family and friends. Now that David’s Bridal is opening in glamorous Hollywood, LA-based brides should make it their first stop for perusing gowns with their bridal parties in tow.  With the holidays upon us – I think it’s the most magical time of year to get married or begin the search for the perfect gown for your forthcoming nuptials in 2014! Here are some holiday fashion trends that every bride should look for this season.

I am still loving the trend of the more relaxed, effortless, laid back look of the tea length gown.  It is incredibly chic and perfect for a more intimate celebration. This gown by Galina is one of my favorites to accomplish this look. With the tea length full tulle skirt and the embroidered bodice, it’s absolutely stunning.

For another short and sweet bridal look this season, I also adore this beauty by Melissa Sweet, it’s the epitome of modern glamour.

When it comes to accessories, it’s always the smallest touches that can make the most spectacular finishes.  Hair clips like the ones below look as if they are incredibly expensive but are fabulously harmless on your bank account. Hair jewels have been a consistent trend for the past decade both on the red carpet here in Hollywood and to the most stylish of brides.  Especially if you decide on wearing your hair up, the jewels add a chic touch, and then you can keep the rest of your accessories to the minimum.

This holiday season, don’t just stop at hair jewels when it comes to accessorizing your look. This faux fur capelet is on my Christmas wish list for Santa. It’s the perfect cover up for a cocktail dress around the holiday season and the winter months.  You can wear it with any color or with an elegant top and jeans for a girl’s night out.  It is luxurious, feminine and GLAM.  Most importantly, it is the perfect accessory for your winter wedding gown, the “must have” for any bride right now!
