Good Afternoon David’s Bridal fans! Happy Monday Monday! Today we are recapping the Mutt Strut, a fundraiser held by PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) that we volunteered at to raise awareness for homeless animals. PAWS is Philadelphia’s largest no-kill shelter and operates a high-volume, low-cost clinic serving pet owners and rescue organizations that lack access to affordable basic veterinary care. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. The Mutt Strut is a parade for dogs (costumes encouraged) and adoption festival with informational tables for pet owners, and boy did we see a lot of cute pups! David’s Bridal offered greenie dog treats for pooches that needed a mid-day snack, as well as a raffle for a one hour photography session with your dog and free framed family photo!

Meet Dior from the Mutt Strut! Dior is a miniature husky mix who was wrapped up in a blanket to stay warm and looking for a new home! He was a favorite!
Here is Lauren and her boyfriend Billy holding their dog Ms. Utley! Their English Bulldog was wearing her Phillies coat to express her love for her favorite city and Philadelphia sports team!
Here is a picture of the dogs that participated in the Mutt Strut, decked out in their costumes!
We had a great time volunteering at the PAWS event. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a place where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home. To learn more about PAWS and how you can help, click here!
