Fashion Spring Cleaning – Nicole’s Top Five Fashion Must-Haves of the Season
by Nicole Brewer

This spring, fashion is all about balance: blending classic shapes with modern fabrics and pairing soft lines with a little edge. To create your signature style this season, first take inventory of your closet. Spend some time to try on your clothes and determine which warm weather looks you must keep, which pieces need to be updated and which pieces need to be tossed out for good!

As you update your closet, keep in mind my top five must-haves of the season.

Shift Dress
A great shift dress is a piece that’s simply regarded as a forever-fashion. In basic black, bold prints or fresh colors with sheen, this simple shift can take you anywhere you need to go.

In smart neutrals or daring colors, fitted with ruched sleeves, or more relaxed “boyfriend” styles, a tailored blazer can be worn in so many ways. Dress up jeans with wild wedges or pair with skirts and trousers for looks well-suited for work.

White Shirt
Layered under jackets or able to stand alone, the crisp white shirt is every woman’s style staple. Plus, you can never have too many.

Skinny Jeans
Whether you’re petite, tall or curvy, the straight-cut jean flatters your figure in style. Go for a bright candy color and layer with a blazer and white shirt or attention-grabbing graphic tee.

Something in Tangerine Tango, the season’s most popular color!
Spring into warmer weather in exotic orange shades like rich coral, pretty papaya and majestic mango. Turn heads at any special event in this tangerine long formal dress.

If you’re not ready to wear bright hot hues from head to toe, go for peachy cosmetics and even nail polish in citrus brights! Another option is to rock a bright-colored accessory like a knockout neon handbag, an 80’s inspired skinny belt or a funky, futuristic shoe.

Let the spring cleaning begin!
