Expert alterations for our garments are available in every David's Bridal store. We ask you to schedule your first fitting at the time of your bridal gown purchase, or at least 3-6 months prior to your wedding or portrait date. Please bring the undergarments and shoes you will wear on the wedding day to ensure a proper fit.
It is recommended that non-bridal customers (bridesmaids, mothers, Quinceañera, prom, flower girls, communion, or special occasion) call early to schedule appointments as well-at least 2-3 months prior to the event-and also come prepared with bra, slip and shoes.
All alterations fees* must be paid at the time of the first fitting. Early scheduling, particularly during the months of May through October, will facilitate convenient appointments for you and timely fittings. There are additional charges for rush fittings, if we are able to schedule them. Please call the Alterations Manager to schedule your appointment. You will find the alterations phone number for each store in the store locator.
Once your alterations have been completed at David's Bridal, we will be happy to press and prepare your gown for the wedding. You are entitled to one free pressing. Garments altered elsewhere can be pressed before they leave David's Bridal, however, we cannot accept garments back for pressing that have been altered elsewhere.
