Rated 5 out of 5 by Anotherginger Great for people who can't wear white
So my spouse is a fan of a more traditional dress, but I have the same problem as a previous reviewer where as a ginger, I just can't get away with white & ivory dresses. It washes me right out. I look like a ghost.
I really didn't expect to find anything at DB, or any shop as colorful wedding dresses are non existent. But there, sandwiched between stacks of white dresses, was this gem.
Unfortunately discontinued, I feel super lucky the one they had in stock fit so well. Mine was missing its waist belt, but we ended up purchasing a fancy alternative one that worked better anyhow.
The staff at the Philadelphia/NJ Pennsylvania DB were SO patient and helpful! We got all the bridesmaids dresses & my dress squared away in one go, despite not having an appointment on a really busy day.
A bridesmaid dismissed this dress as ridiculous and ugly automatically while it was on the rack. I'm so thankful I ignored them. It was the first dress I tried on. If you see one at your DB, give it a try. It really compliments so many skin types and won't wash you out. I think you'll be wonderfully surprised by this beautiful dress!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmallWedding Stunning!!!!!
I just got engaged and don't have a date yet but wanted to try on different styles. We're not planning on having a big wedding but I have always wanted THE dress--I found it!!!! Photos do not do this dress justice. The color would look beautiful on any skin tone and the styling is sooooo flattering. I can't wait to wear this dress!!!!!!! The store only had a size 8 so I have to get it altered but I don't care. Once I tried this dress on I didn't want any other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lilbowki Surprisingly fell in love
I remember walking into the store and seeing it on a manikin and thinking "ew, a pink dress?" I decided to keep an open mind and try it on along with about 20 other dresses they had in store. It easily fell into my top 5. I went into the store about three more times and tried it on every time. Finally, I brought my mom to show her this gorgeous dress and the manager said "if you've tried it on four times, it's probably your dress." I agreed and it went on the credit card!
Yes I wanted the dress bad, but when they told me it was discontinued and they would no longer be making them and would probably not have my size next time that was extra incentive to buy the dress. I was a bit upset to see that they were still making the dress a bit longer and had actually cut the price down a lot. I felt I deserved a reimbursement for the extra money I spent on the dress at full price, but after debating my mom talked me down and reminded me that I love that dress... I just didn't love the situation that came about after buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsSmithSmithToBe Perfect dress for me!
This was dress everything I hated about bridal gowns...it was tulle...a ball gown (but it's actually more of a modified A-line)...and it was pink. The young lady that helped me insisted I try it on just to see...I hesitated but did it anyways....one word...WOW! I fell in love with it before I even saw myself in the mirror!
The embroidery is stunning! It is the softest shade of pink you can imagine...even softer than blush! The embroidery is in shades of gold. champagne, and rose gold. Just absolutely stunning!
The dress is a tad heavy... so wearing it on a hot & humid day would be slightly uncomfortable.
My dress fit me perfectly. I wear a street size 16w/18w and I ordered this in an 18w. It fit perfectly. The only alteration I needed was hemming. I also had my seamstress (not DB's) sew in my corset. I opted to not have a bustle as I didn't like the look of it...instead, my seamstress sewed in a finger loop on the underside of the rear of my dress, and I used that to pull my dress up. Oh - and i did add a different belt...the sash that came with the dress seemed to plain so I ordered the champagne sash with 3-d flowers on it.
