I have a hourglass figure and am definitely a little bigger on bottom. Love the A-line shape on the halter; super flattering for my body type and my bridesmaid buddy easily safety pinned my strapless bra in the back for guaranteed no show. That said, I wish I would have ordered down. I sized up since the slip portion on the skirt underlay was too tight and the store didn't have a larger one that I could try on. Sadly, the larger size arrived months later fitting bigger everywhere but the bottom slip where I needed more room. There was a good 4" gap between the lace and slip. The lace balled out while the slip was way too tight and it is not made of a stretchy material. Other than the terrible style flaw with the slip, the dress looked great. I just cut the lower portion up each side and wore it with nude biker short style shape wear, no one could tell. Shame I had to ghetto rig such a nice dress though. I really loved that it washed perfectly on a gentle/hand wash cycle and dried great too. Didn't have to worry about hanging it during my commute to the wedding either, it neatly unfolded from my suitcase 24 hours later looking great.
As for coordinating, the gold colored dress was my least favorite of the colors because it really washes you out, so get a spray tan before the wedding if you're a white girl in the gold dress. Also good to know: match it with champagne or nude heels, it looked terrible with gold because of all the cream in the dress.
All in all I wouldn't even buy this dress for $50 (in the gold, gray was great) so 3 times more was a total disappointment but it was hands down the best style of the metallic lace dresses on my body type and the bride was happy, so who cares about the front butt it gave me in 1/4 of the pics. Lol it did hide my big ol back butt just fine!
