It will do the job, but...
There is an oddly placed seam in the fabric, which is visible to me when I tie the ribbon as shown in the picture. One might expect a product like this to be seamless, at this on the front. I will say, from a distance it can't be seen, but it bugs me that I can see it.

Nice material, but......
I bought this sash in ivory for my wedding dress. The color is perfect and the material is very nice. However, when I received the sash the width was so uneven it was a bit ridiculous. It is supposed to start more narrow all around the waist and gradually get wider but it was narrow on one side of my body, wider on the other. To even it out in the front, the tails in the back hung very uneven (one was to the floor and the other half way down my legs). It looked awful when I initially tried it on. Thankfully my mother-in-law to be is a good seamstress and will be able to split the seam and even it out.

Adds color
I purchased this sash in truffle to go with my wedding dress and to match my colors. It is so pretty and made of great material. I'm so short that the sash actually touches the floor in the back, but that's what I was looking for anyway. I didn't tie mine; I purchased a crystal pin and just crossed the sash and pinned it to add some character. I love this sash and I would recommend for anyone looking to add something extra special to their gown!

Love The Pop!
I bought this to go with my wedding dress to add some color to it. The blue just makes it pop. Its a great add on if you want some color to the dress.
