My fairy tale dress
My first and last dress I tried on. I was in love with it.

THE Dress!
I selected this dress as one of my "favorites" online, made an appointment at DB, and had a chance to try it on. It is absolutely beautiful! The sales associate had pulled a few other dresses for me but by the time she returned I knew that this was "THE DRESS!"
I'd recommend for anyone who's considering buying a dress online to check and see if they have it at a nearby DB. I had tried on a few others that I had listed as favorites, all beautiful, but not quite me when I stepped into them. Also, the sales associate was very helpful. Make an appointment and go in - it's worth it!

Love It!
I had already purchased a gown (on sale) from another bridal shop. I came to David's Bridal b/c I was really second guessing the purchase and wanted them to dress me up with a headpiece, veil, and undergarments to make shirt more poofy. Well, the final look was not what I had envisioned. The saleswoman listened to what I wanted in a dress (beaded bodice, strapless, train, and poofy skirt). She looked at my favorites list and came back with two dresses. One was from my list...this one was not. Before I made my decision between the two I told her not to tell me the prices b/c I did not want that to influence my decision. I am in love with this dress plus the price turned out to be great. However, I did get the last one in the entire store (it's discontinued) so it does need to be cleaned and some beading reapplied in various places. I have been assured that alterations will take care of that for free when its closer to my wedding date. I cannot wait to wear it next year. I want to put it on everyday until then, lol! I definitely believe that when you find the one you know it!

very pleased
So I had been lusting over this dress for a little while but wasn't planning on buying anything until this spring (wedding is in Oct '13). Then I saw that it was way marked down and found that it had been discontinued. So, I ordered it on a gamble since they didn't have it in my local store. I'm so pleased that I did. The detail in the embroidery and beading is really stunning. I had thought that the pictures all used crinolines but it turns out it's puff is all it's own! I think I counted 9 different layers, mostly fine tulle on the outer layers and coarse tulle beneath. The bodice is well boned and very sturdy. I'm hoping to have a lace-up back added in, but I think I've got some time!
