Go See In Person! These pictures don't do this dress any favors at all, go see it in person! When I looked at in online, I skipped right over it. I didn't even recognize it in the store when I saw it on the mannequin! I was so surprised at how beautiful and different it was, I had to try it on, and immediately I knew it was the one. I didn't think I wanted poofy, but the corset back and the swags across the hips did amazing things for my shape. It was very princessy, but not over the top. It has a lot of little details you have to look for, no flashy beading or anything distracting. Just a few clear sequins add a little sparkle, and the beautiful embroidered lace appliques under the tulle give it that something extra. Ignore the pictures, go find it in the store. :) November 6, 2012
Try it on! Don't be fooled by the pictures of this dress, they do NOT do it justice! I first tried this dress on while visiting some family, and absolutely loved it. Everyone called it the Cinderella dress. I wanted to try some more dresses on with my mom, and ended up trying this one on for the second time.. I still loved it more than any of the other dresses I tried. The corset back and the soft tule that surrounds the dress are gorgeous. The lace flowers are perfect if you don't want too much bling, but still want to feel like a princess. I wore this with a veil that had little sequins in it, and a Swarovski crystal headband. Make sure you get the pouffier petticoat to go underneath, it works wonders for this dress. The ONLY problem I had with this dress was the bustle - it took my mother and bridesmaids around 30 minutes to get it right, and I had to stand the whole time. My back KILLED.. it was the only non-enjoyable part of my wedding. We got married on the beach and this dress was fine (even though I had to walk very carefully to keep from tripping on the front!) I tried to upload a picture of me in the dress, but it's not working. :( December 10, 2013
I Love This Dress!!! This dress is really beautiful when you actually see it, and a single tiered vale will really add to the dress. I'm a little bit bigger and kind of had doubts about this dress when I looked at the picture but when I got to David's Bridal and tried it on I fell in love with it. November 24, 2013
figure flattering this is a beautiful dress once you put it on and perfect for curvy figures. the skirt chandelier is very pretty. i tried on about 6 gowns and learned that i really liked the boning structure on the sides and front of the corset and the pretty lace up in the back. the salesperson had added this ball gown on a whim and said she hadn't been able to get anyone else to try it on! it is nearly all tulle with some embroidery and a few sequins. i chose a tulle veil lightly dotted with swarovski crystals. be sure to try this on with a fluffy underskirt to add a little more pouf! :) i also highly recommend getting the bustle alteration. good luck! p.s. helpful tip - if you decide to get this gown, be sure to bring someone along to your alterations appointments so they learn how to help you get into your dress and do the bustle on your wedding day!
