Best dress EVER! DB was my first and final stop in the quest to find my perfect dress. I was looking for a 50s-style tea length dress, and DB had 3 for me to try on. The first was pretty but just wasn't the one. The second was also pretty and very detailed, but felt SO heavy and scratchy, I felt overwhelmed by it. This was the third dress and it was THE ONE! It's so light, soft and feels wonderful. The details are so soft and pretty, and the pictures here don't do it justice. We're having a small San Francisco city hall wedding with a 50s theme, this dress is absolutely perfect. I will have to get the dress altered a bit to make it fit perfectly, but I am overjoyed with this dress! And, it's only $200! (Please ignore the fact that I'm wearing socks in the picture!) So Fun! We had an incredibly fun, low-key, late September wedding in my mother's garden, with the reception at a local green space and fire hall. We had yard games, picnic blankets/baskets, BBQ picnic food, and (because it was midday) plenty of sunshine! This dress couldn't have been more ideal. It showed of my shoes (I went with royal blue peep-toe pumps, similar to those in the one Galina ad), hugged my waist nicely, and (even though it was strapless) stayed up without having to be fussed with throughout the day. I did purchase a bustle to go underneath, and the dress looked even better with the added oomph. I couldn't recommend this dress enough to anyone having a spring/summer/fall wedding! January 25, 2014
Dream Dress I wore this for our 11/23/13 wedding. I had the cap sleeves added to it which made it into my absolute dream dress. I am still head over heels for this dress and can't wait to do my (belated) bridal portraits so I can wear it again! The picture is of me and my Daddy. :) January 22, 2014
Cute retro dress Definitely a great dress for those on a budget. Also if you are slightly overweight, like I am, then this would be a great choice. It covers the lumpy parts of the stomach and hides your hips. Love the tulle on the bottom part as well. July 27, 2013
