Never wouldve tried this on I was searching for a wedding dress, and i had always imagined wearing the long dresses with sleeves, mermaid gown. But im so happy i tried this on because it is so fun and beautiful. im 24 and most dresses made me look matronly, nothing wrong but i didnt feel young and vibrant untill i tried this on. So now my garden wedding is perfect <3 July 25, 2014
Very Happy with Dress On my first trip to David's, I narrowed my selection down to 5. I was looking for something simple for a destination wedding in the mountains in the Spring. On a second visit with my mom, this dress stood out more. It has pockets! Loved the pockets. Versatile. Also, since this dress is so simple, you can play it up with accessories. I added a sash, veil, and earrings (also from David's Bridal). Alterations of the bust and the length made the dress perfect for me. Dry cleaning services ring this through as a "party dress" and not a bridal gown, so you'll save there as well. The price was nice on this dress too. Was perfect for my big day. July 19, 2014
Audrey Inspired I new I wanted a tea length dress ever since I saw Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn. I did not expect to fall in love with the swiss dots, but they were adorable. I felt classy and fun. March 15, 2014
Flattering, fresh and fun I knew I wanted a tea length gown and went back to DB for a 2nd time to try on dresses. Like other reviewers I was thrilled this gown has pockets. Wow ! They are not easily visible, but so cute and convenient. My right hand is in a pocket in both pics. The pic shows me in a size 14, but it had to be pinned, since they didn't have my size. I'm a 12 in bridal gowns and wear a street size 10, 5' 6" 149 lbs. I really liked the sweetheart neckline which adds shape and is so flattering. I didn't try on the petticoat since I liked the shape the dress has. I tried it on with the Felina seamless long bra (38 B). It was a little too padded for my taste, but provided great tummy control. It adds a visible, slimming effect. I added a DB sash with 3 pretty purple/ mauve-toned flowers and a mauve satin ribbon. I included the DB crystal t-strap heels (style Tia), which I bought that day. They are dyeable and the heel is a comfortable 3". Overall this dress felt light, fresh and wearable for a May civil ceremony along the River Walk in San Antonio, TX. I hope this review helps you decide on your perfect dress. I for one have relied on all the pictures on this site of real brides-to-be to make a choice. The models are gorgeous, but it's great to see these gowns on real women. February 26, 2014
