Perfect! Went into DB only interested in tea length gowns for my small garden wedding in June, and not too sure of what the local one had in stock. I'd seen this on the website and thought it looked adorable, but didn't mention it to my consultant since I was happy to just see what they had. It turned out to be one of the four tea lengths they had in the store, and although I wasn't really intending to buy anything....I did. My girls loved it and I didn't want to take it off, which is always a good sign. I'm only 5'2 so not it's not truly "tea length" on me, but the important thing is that I don't have to get it hemmed or worry about it dragging on the ground. I was also kind of set against strapless as I'm large in the chest area (30 F), and I may look into adding straps or something, but I love it as is! I will add photos as the website photos really kind of give you no clue of what the dress looks like. Reviewer photos are the only reason I even thought it looked cute on the website! Wanted to love so bad! I had already purchased another Galina short dress for my reception. I saw this dress as a new arrival and absolutely loved it that I had to try it on, even though my other dress was already in alterations. I read the rave reviews and the dress looked amazing on the other reviewers. I was sadly disappointed when I tried it on. I'm a street size 6, but tried this in a 10. It seriously made me look 50lbs heavier and about a foot wider in the hip area. I so wanted to love this because the dress is so cute, but it looked horrendous on. I have a very small waist and larger hips and this dress did nothing for me but make me look like a whale. :( :( :( January 23, 2013
Fun, and Totally Danceable! I saw this online before I went into my appointment, and I wasn't impressed. Then I got to the store. The consultant had me try this on first, and I KNEW it was the one! I love the fun polka dots - it makes the dress so unique! I'm wearing a fuller slip underneath to make the skirt even more swingy. I also LOVE that I'll be able to move freely in this - my husband-to-be and I are swing dancing for our first dance, and I can definitely do that in this dress! Also, pockets. Pretty much the best thing. This dress is amazing and pictures don't do it justice. Also, it looks a little long on me in my picture because I'm really short. If you want a fun and different dress, go try it on! January 19, 2013
Basically the Cutest Thing Ever I want the thank the other reviewer who poster her pic (you look gorgeous, btw). The photo on this site truly doesn't begin to do this dress justice. It's ADORABLE and looks great with added poof. Also, get this: it has pockets! Yes, POCKETS!!!! This dress has a very 50s feel and would be great for a rockabilly wedding (not my theme). I'm getting married at a summer camp and am excited this dress will allow me to run around outside without worrying about ruining it. I seriously couldn't be happier with my purchase. January 7, 2013
