I chose this as my wedding dress after a lot of contemplation. I tried on many designer gowns, but ultimately decided I just couldn't beat the price of this beautiful dress. I bought it in ivory and wore a cathedral length veil and shorter veil that matched the embroidery on the dress almost perfectly (from DB - style 653) it looked amazing. The seamstress at DB did a really cool diagonal bustle in the back to (see pic). I definitely recommend this for any bride - it has beautiful embroidery that is just the right amount, and it is super light and comfortable - in fact, I wore my dress for about 15 hours!

MY DAUGHTER WENT INTO DAVID'S BRIDAL WITH A VERY DIFFERENT LOOK IN MIND, SHE HAD TRIED ON A FEW GOWNS AND THEN THIS ONE, SHE CAME OUT IN THE CHAMPAGNE COLOR AND HER SISTER(MOH) AND I BOTH SAID, THAT'S THE ONE! SHE WAS HAVING A SUMMER WEDDING AND THE TAFFETA WAS LIGHT AND THE EMBELLISHMENTS WERE JUST RIGHT. SHE LOVED THE ROUCHING AND THE FIT WAS GREAT. SHE PURCHASED HER VEIL AND SHOES TO MATCH AT DAVID'S AND SHE RECEIVED SOOOOO MANY COMPLIMENTS AT HER JUNE 9TH WEDDING. ONE OF MY FRIENDS ACTUALLY SAID IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WEDDING GOWN SHE EVER SAW. THE IVORY COLOR OF HER GOWN WENT PERFECTLY WITH HER PICK OF A CHIFFON BRIDESMAID DRESS IN PEACOCK. SHE COULD NOT HAVE LOOKED MORE BEAUTIFUL AND HER WEDDING COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PERFECT!

Simple but elegant
I love this dress! It feels lightweight, yet formal enough for a fancy affair. It has just enough details on the bodice (back and both sides) with subtle ruching that are not overwhelming. I believe DB came out with this particular dress a couple of years back, but it still looks "in season" -- classic with a contemporary twist without being too trendy.
