Sporty and Chic Great for someone who works out because of the sporty collar! This was one of the first dresses I tried on and I immediately LOVED it. However, I ended up not buying it due to recommendations from people I was with, "Its too fancy for a Hawaii beach wedding", well I ended up going back 3 weeks prior to the wedding and switching dresses and I am so happy I did. I am 5'11'' and wore a six 6. Didnt need any alterations, fit me perfectly, and I was comfortable. It was so beautiful and not hot at all though my beach wedding ceremony beach. I even went in the ocean with it, and the dress color was still vibrant and it dried PERFECTLY. I say, if your considering this dress... GO FOR IT. It is stunning, especially if you have an athletic build! September 24, 2010
Dramatic Beauty I purchased this dress last night. It was not my first choice. I went to the bridal salon with the idea of purchasing a dress a tried on a few days earlier. One of the consultants suggested I look through the catalog again. So, I did. I chose the picture because the style was different from the strapless chiffon I thought my heart was set on. As soon as I saw myself in this dramatic gown I felt so beautiful. The picture does not do this gown justice. This dress is gorgeous. I thought my dream gown was strapless with a full skirt. Boy was I wrong! I can hardly wait for my future husband to see me walking toward him in my beautiful gown! September 21, 2010
Amazing This was the third dress I tried on. It was not what I invisioned for my dress but as soon as I saw it on, it blew me away. It looks 100% better on than in the pictures. The magazine pictures do not do it justice at all. If I would have only seen it in a magazine I would have never tried it on. I got so many compliments on the dress and I loved that it was nontraditional!! September 16, 2010
The "Elvis" Dress I just put in my order for this dress yesterday and I CANNOT wait to wear it in my April 2011 wedding. I get goosebumps every time I think about it. I think I tried on at least 30 dresses and was feeling very disappointed and frustrated until one of the bridal consultants said "lets put her in the Elvis dress". I started thinking to myself that they were going to bring me some flashy, over the top dress that I was going to hate. But I was willing to try anything that was thrown at me so on it went. As soon as I walked out of the dressing room, everyone in the store said wowwwww, THAT'S your dress! I turned and looked in the mirror and at first I didn't know what to think, it is SO different than any other dress in that store. Then it hit me, the dress flattered my body and bust like no other dress had done. It totally fits my quirky personality and my desire to make a statement. I didn't buy it on the first day because I was so overwhelmed and needed time to think, but I did make an appointment for the next day. That night I just could not get that dress out of my head, I kept thinking of all the ways I could accessorize it and really make it me. So the next day I went back and tried on a few more that I had found in the catalog but they just didn't do it for me. Finally I told my consultant to bring me "Elvis" and once it was back on my body I just knew it was the one. She added a veil and some bold shoes and I strutted around that store feeling on top of the world. Needless to say, I bought it. After finishing up all the details, I happily walked to the front and said "Elvis has left the building"! I HIGHLY recommend that you future brides give this dress a chance, especially if you're fashion forward and think outside the box. It's a little bit vintage, a little bit rock n' roll and a whole lotta WOW! September 7, 2010
