Awesome Dress! Comfortable and Slimming
I am 5'9" and size 16. After trying what felt like every dress at David's and at other stores for over 8 months I was back at David's and this dress happened to be there in a 16w after someone returned it. I tried it on and it was one of the dresses I was considering.
In the end I decided to go with this dress. I was concerned about the material - meaning that it seemed like it would wrinkle easily, but that wasn't a problem at all. This dress was awesome and took me through a long, long day and evening. It was very light weight, comfortable and easy to sit and dance in.
I made a few minor adjustments to it. I had the sash moved up a few inches so it was sewn under the bust for a more empire effect. Then I had the rest of the dress taken in for a closer fit around the rest of my body right down to the knees. Not skin tight, but much more fitted.
A trumpet slip is necessary with this dress so you don't trip, but also to give it the proper effect.
An awesome dress! Great for the plus sized girl and one with a larger chest and arms. Very flattering.

This was the last dress that I tried on and I fell in love with it.. It flattered my figure in all the right places. I was able to dress it up with jewelery and I felt amazing in it on my wedding day! It "wowd" my family and friends... BUY THIS DRESS!!

I Bought The First Dress I Tried On
When I arrived, Frances (consultant) brought me this dress along with three others. My kids help me select this dress and I tried it on three different times...I knew this was the one. I can't wait until my wedding day!!

Love love love
I must've tried on 15 dresses and kept coming back to this dress. I LOVED it. Got so many compliments on it. My bridesmaid colors were fern and I removed the bow and added a fern sash which really made the dress pop.
