Beach Wedding This was the perfect dress for my beach wedding in Costa Rica. We got married in the dry season, and I was comfortable in 85+ degree heat in this dress. It's light, flowy, and looks beautiful in a breeze. The Swiss dots are the perfect whimsical touch. I wear a lot of polka dots and before the wedding I told my then-fianc he would see why the dress was "me". At the altar he said, "Dots!" I received so many compliments on this dress; strangers at the resort asked me who designed it. It's a simple, classic dress that looks much more expensive than it is. Wouldn't change a thing! so in love! I have been looking at this dress online forever and it was one of the first dresses I favorited. I wanted something simple but elegant but I couldn't decide if maybe I shouldn't go with something a little bit more rustic and lace-y. When I went to my appointment and tried this dress on I instantly knew that I had found my dress. When the lady put the veil on me I even teared up a little. I love the top part and the polka dots are just such a sweet intricate addition. Pictures do not do the fit and the flow of the dress justice!! Cannot wait to wear it next April. April 26, 2014
Romantic for any Season! I actually bought this dress without ever trying it on. I fell in love with the online image and trust me it doesn't capture even a fraction of its beauty. The dots are really only seen in person within I'd say a 6 or 7 foot radius. So make sure you get up close photos in it too! I wore this dress twice once in the middle of summer at our ceremony in South America and once at our reception in the dead of winter in Chicago. I was not uncomfortable in either of the climates. The dress had just enough flow. The only thing I changed was that I had a friend french seam the very end of the tulle as it is left with a bare cut on the edge, which made it look a lot more elegant and stopped a lot of tears as it kept catching on the detail of my shoes. For undergarments all I needed was a strapless bra and a stretch corset. Overall, it was the perfect dress! April 24, 2014
