Looks even better in photos
This is a great dress, though hard to see with the pics DB has here. Very flattering to a pear shaped figure - gives you a little more structure and volume on the top with the sweetheart neckline and flows out smoothly from the smallest part of your waist to provide great coverage for a thicker bottom. Very comfortable. Stayed up around my chest well without me having to tug and adjust. I wore a nude strapless spanx dress (with built in undies) underneath. This is the way to go because the material is a bit see through - you will not want white lines underneath that will show up in the flash of the photos.
I kept and used the sash. I thought it was perfectly simple and elegent since the dress already has plenty of drama (for me) with the ball gown flair and pick up. Check out my pics for a better look at what the dress looks like from afar.

LOVE this dress
Tried on about 5 or 6 dresses and realized they were not me. Originally, I thought I wanted mermaid style or fit-and-flare but those dresses did not flatter my shape as much as I thought it would. THIS dress is perfect, so light, figure-flattering. Everyone pretty much said it all...this dress is great for a summer wedding of any theme. I did NOT like the sash with the white flowers (comes originally on the dress), so I opted for a beaded more modern-looking sash. Have this dress on layaway because I KNEW it was the one...can't wait to take it home :)

Like wearing a cloud!
After trying on I don't know how many dresses this was the one that I kept coming to. Another Galina was at the top of the list but was so heavy and for an August outdoor wedding this dress just made so much sense! Lightweight, figure flattering and comfortable. I love the feel of the organza, though opted to have the applique on the sash swapped out for a beaded one from another shorter DB sash and was a tad bummed that the dress didn't have a lace up corset back(I have a tough shape to fit, small chest wide hips small square waist), but for the price and the feel I just love it!
Another plus is, as I just had my dress fitting yesterday, the dress will not need a full hem even though I'm only 5'4"! The pickups allow for a slight shortening of the dress and with my heels it's perfect! Saved about $70 on the hem!

LOVE!
This dress is comfortable, flattering, and really light! I choose to go sans petticoat because it already has so much shape to it and my wedding is on the beach. I'm replacing the (somewhat boring) sash with the Vera in ivory. There is just enough contrast to the soft white for the sash to be seen, but it doesn't clash or look garish. Love it!
