Classy and flattering My bridal party ranged in size 2 to 22 and this dress looked good on all of them. Most of them have larger busts and the top was very flattering while nipping in the waist to give them shape. My wedding had a 1940's classic Hollywood theme, and I wanted it rather formal and gala-ish; however it was an outdoor ceremony in Mississippi in June so a long dress would have been cruel and unusual punishment. This dress's length was the perfect compromise. My colors were gold and turquoise with different peacock shades of blues and greens. I put 3 of the girls in the Jade (greener color) and 3 in the Oasis (bluer color). Tea length dresses have a bad reputation of looking unflattering but only if the hem falls right at the wide part of the calf; it gives the impression of elephant legs. If it is altered to fall above or below the meatiest part then it slims the leg and looks great. Only one had to have alterations and that was because she lost weight and went down a dress size, another girl wore a tulle skirt under her's to give it more poof. Most of the girls are around 5'6"-5'9". Given all that, all the hems still fell to about the same place and looked pleasing on everyone. They all said the dress was very comfortable, even in the heat while dancing, and each of them felt confident. August 14, 2012
Comfortable and Elegant My bridesmaids looked stunning!!! They all were very comfortable, not concerned about the dress revealing too much. They made my larger bridesmaids not look so big. My 7 months pregnant bridesmaid didn't have to do any alterations to her waist of her dress. July 25, 2012
Beautiful My bridesmaid range in size from 5'0" and very 'curvy' to 5'8" and thin. I have now seen this dress on all 4 of them (wedding isn't actually until September) and I am SO pleased with this choice. I was going to let them all pick their own styles, but they all those this one instead! From different states! The only thing I'll mention is that for my shorter more vuluptuous bridesmaid, she had to get a much bigger size to accomodate for her chest. As such, the rest of the dress pretty much fit like a tent when she first got it, and it was practically ankle length (instead of tea like everyone else). With alteration it will be fine. Average This dress is super cute BUT I would not recommend for a shorter girl thats plus sized, my maid of honor is on the shorter sized and plus sized and it made her look even shorter and bigger. This would look great on a taller girl! July 7, 2012
