I think it looks better without the halter, the halter is kind of an odd distraction. The dress looks fine, average for a bridesmaid dress. It is very long though and will likely need altering. Also if you use the halter you may need it adjusted. Most importantly, if you are not already familiar with David's sizing please understand that their sizes bear no resemblence whatsoever to typical sizes. If you are an 8 in real life you are likely a 12 in David's. Maybe 10, maybe 14 in some things. So if you are ordering online you really just have to guess and be prepared to alter.

Great Dress
I loved this dress! I don't understand the 'convertible' straps though...I tucked them in but they fell out a lot...on the dance floor :) I was worried that it would not look good because I am super hippy, but after taking in the top, it was fabulous!! I felt like Lucille Ball!!
