Strapless Tulle Dress with Caviar Beading Style INT3143
Great dress but a small problem
Dress looked great. Good tummy coverage. I had 2 small problems. I started losing some of the beading towards the end of the 4hrs I wore it.I was rough on it as I was carrying/chasing around a 1 year old. Someone else posted the outer layer started to stick to itself causing it to fold up and over. It was fine when I was in A/C. I had to readjust it many times and it was little embarassing pulling at the hem of my dress. I did get many compliments on it

I was happy to here that my local store actually had the dress in my size. Went and tried it on and absolutley love it, it is a must see, This is my 2nd marriage and wanted something elegant but simple and this fits the picture. the size is true to fit.

This dress is beautiful. It is very elegant but would probably wear well even at a party that is not strictly formal.
There are a lot of comments about fit and appearance. I ordered this dress sight unseen from the website, but I had a good idea of my size--I got this dress in a size 6 because a couple months ago, I just bought a bridesmaid's dress from David's, size 6.
It is worth mentioning that even though my bridesmaid dress and this dress are very similar styles (both empire wait, tea length) they do not fit EXACTLY the same--my bridesmaid dress is a little tight around the bodice, but this one is a little loose (I wear a C).
Also, there were comments on the color--the underlay is definitely nude--mine doesn't look tan at all. The dress looks exactly like it does in the picture.
However, the "beading" is a little cheap--it isn't sewn on (though for $135, I wasn't really expecting it to be). Beads are very very small and are glued. Just while trying on the dress I lost a couple beads, but I think I'll be able to wear this dress many many times and will never lose enough that it'll be noticeable.
Last (I promise I'm done)--there were lots of comments on whether or not the waist band is slimming or not. I am very curvy and I usually look good in something more fitted, but I didn't notice that this empire waist was any more or less flattering than any others I've worn, so I think it is just a body type thing. (Maybe it is a little slimming on me, bc I have definitely worn empire waists that made me look several months pregnant--however, I wouldn't say it was particularly slimming either).
