Absolutely stunning
This dress is beautiful. It is very elegant but would probably wear well even at a party that is not strictly formal.
There are a lot of comments about fit and appearance. I ordered this dress sight unseen from the website, but I had a good idea of my size--I got this dress in a size 6 because a couple months ago, I just bought a bridesmaid's dress from David's, size 6.
It is worth mentioning that even though my bridesmaid dress and this dress are very similar styles (both empire wait, tea length) they do not fit EXACTLY the same--my bridesmaid dress is a little tight around the bodice, but this one is a little loose (I wear a C).
Also, there were comments on the color--the underlay is definitely nude--mine doesn't look tan at all. The dress looks exactly like it does in the picture.
However, the "beading" is a little cheap--it isn't sewn on (though for $135, I wasn't really expecting it to be). Beads are very very small and are glued. Just while trying on the dress I lost a couple beads, but I think I'll be able to wear this dress many many times and will never lose enough that it'll be noticeable.
Last (I promise I'm done)--there were lots of comments on whether or not the waist band is slimming or not. I am very curvy and I usually look good in something more fitted, but I didn't notice that this empire waist was any more or less flattering than any others I've worn, so I think it is just a body type thing. (Maybe it is a little slimming on me, bc I have definitely worn empire waists that made me look several months pregnant--however, I wouldn't say it was particularly slimming either).

great dress
I bought this dress online after looking at numerous other dresses online. I received the dress yesterday; four days after ordering, and I am estatic. I followed the sizing chart provided and it was exact. This being my second marriage I wanted something nontraditional, but yet elegant and this dress is absolutely perfect! I have great friends who helped me finish the look. I can't wait for my husband to see me on our wedding day!! Thank you!!

Beautiful Dress But....
I bought this dress (in black/champagne) for my brother's June wedding in Saratoga, NY. It looked great on at the hotel, but once I went outside into the balmy NY summer heat, the glue that holds the beautiful caviar beads on stuck to itself and to the rest of the dress making unattractive clumps along the hem as I moved. While I was indoors in air conditioning, the dress was fine, but the warm weather did it in. Had the weather been cooler, this dress would have been perfect. I would not recommend it for outdoor occasions or for wear in a warmer climate.
