Love at first sight... I walked into David's Bridal on the day of my appointment and this dress was on a mannequin right when I walked in. My mom and I both fell in love with it instantly but didn't say anything to the consultant at first. After trying on a few dresses I mention this dress. I knew it was the dress when she told me it was the last one in the store, and it was my size. I don't get emotional, but I did get butterflies like crazy when I put this dress on. I did buy a different belt to wear with this dress, only because I thought that the one that came with it was a little too plain. I'm so excited to walk down the aisle in this dress. I feel like a princess when I'm in it. August 5, 2014
In Love I originally went into DB in January to try on dresses but I didn't find anything that really captured my attention. Then, my MIL and I went in last week because they were having a $200 off deal on certain wedding dresses. Well, after trying on multiple dresses, I thought I had found "the one." It was an A-line dress with everything I thought I had wanted in my dream dress. It had lace underneath the tulle, and it had beautiful embroidery throughout the top of the dress. Not only that, but it wasn't strapless (which was a must). However, the very next day, I began to second guess myself, and as the week passed by, I kept thinking about how the dress I had chosen made me feel so old and I kept thinking about THIS dress (which was my other choice). I felt hopeless because I thought it was too late for me to exchange the order. But when I called DB yesterday to ask if it was a possibility to exchange dresses, they said yes! So I went in today and tried this one on one more time, and I knew. THIS is "the one." I love the simple details of this gown and how it makes me feel so beautiful and young. After all, I'll only be 24 when I get married next year. The only thing I am changing about this dress is that I will be adding removable cap sleeves for the ceremony (since it's in a church), and I will go strapless for the reception. I am so excited for my wedding, and I can't wait for my fiance to see me walking down the aisle in this dress. I'll make sure to post a picture on here after the wedding. :) June 23, 2014
