Simply Stunning
This is the dress that I never thought I could wear. I actually bought a very different dress from David's when I originally went. One of my friends bought the same exact dress and she is getting married three weeks before me. So I went back to David's with an open mind to try on some more dresses, to see if I found any others that I loved more. That's when I tried on this gown. As soon as I put it on I started crying tears of joy... something that I never thought that I would do with a dress. It was so utterly stunning that when I saw myself in the dress I felt like, "Wow, now that's a bride!!" :) The A-line style is very flattering and the detailed beading as well as the dramatic effect of the pick-ups make for a truly beautiful gown! The dress is very thoughtfully made and it shows! If you want to really make an entrance and feel like a princess doing it, this is the dress for you! I love this dress so much more than the first dress that I bought, I cannot imagine wearing anything else! <3

Made my momma cry...
I've been engaged once before, a long time ago, and tried only many, many dresses then. I knew I wanted something completely different than what I'd been looking for before (mermaid or sheath), so I started by looking for ballgowns. I tried on a total of 5 dresses before this one (three at another store and 2 at David's). I'm a bigger girl, and I always hate the hassle and embarrassment when it takes the consultant 10 minutes of tugging on a zipper or laces, only to say: "We can order it to fit you, or alterations can let it out. We have modesty pieces available..." And so on. But this dress zipped immediately! I knew before walking out that the dress fit perfectly with my shoes on (I'm also quite short) as I wasn't tripping on it every step. I mom started crying the moment I walked out. The dress fit me perfectly and the alterations consultant couldn't find a single thing that needed altered (length was perfect, bodice just tight enough to give me curves and cleavage, which I don't have normally). She finally gave up (of course she's supposed to find SOMETHING to alter so they can make money on that!) and said "I give up! This dress is perfect for you!" They brought out the veil in the picture and it looked stunning. I bought that too, even though I'd purchased a birdcage style veil a few weeks prior and was, until that moment, certain that I didn't want a normal veil. I can't wait to walk down the isle on March 11, 2013 and see his face when he sees me in this dress! I've never felt so beautiful and I almost didn't want to take it off! You hear people talk about that 'bridal moment' when a girl tries on her dress and knows it's 'the one', well, I'm a very rational person and I've always thought that ideal was silly (it's just fabric, after all...) but I had that moment in this dress! I am so happy with David's bridal and I'll be back in a month or so to buy a reception dress, dress for my maid of honor, and a mother of the bride dress for my mom! Wouldn't shop anywhere else!

Lalalala Love it
I came into Davids Bridal with the intent of just trying on dresses and to generate some ideas of what I wanted for my dress. I tried on about 3 dresses before trying on this one. I informed the consultant of what I was looking for and then I allowed my mom, aunt and 2 of my bridesmaids to pick one out. And as soon as I tried it on I knew this was the one. After trying 2 more after this one, I still couldn't get this one out of my head. But when I came walking out in this one, everyone was just in awe, even the people that was next to us was gasping. At the moment I knew I found exactly what I was looking for even though I went into the store to generate some ideas. And I love the fact that Davids Bridal is going customize the dress for me. I can't wait to wear it Oct 31 2013. Thanks Davids Bridal!

Princess Dress
I loved wearing this dress on my wedding day. (September 15,2012) It slims out the top and is ballgown style. The pick ups in the back and front are beautiful. I wear a double digit sized dress and I felt so slim in this dress.
