Love this dress!
This dress was the reason I came into the David's Bridal store. I tried on a couple other dresses including a ball gown and a few other empire-waists. I saved this gown until the end, and when I tried it on I loved it! The sweetheart top, bow, and pockets make this dress very modern.

Accidentally in Love
I had initially decided on a $1200 Paloma Blanca gown at a local boutique after having tried on over 50 dresses at DB and at other shops all around town...that was, until I visited DB one last time with a friend who was picking up a bridesmaid gown.
This dress was on display in the centre of the showroom floor and it blew me out of the water with just how similar it was to the Paloma Blanca-- and what differences there were, I LOVED!
My father purchased this gown for me in white with the chapel train and I will be wearing a birdcage veil and custom fascinator in my August 2011 wedding in Las Vegas.
I have a fuller hourglass figure and this gown fits amazingly. It fits snugly around the bust and upper waist with a delicately feminine sweetheart neckline, then flares out in what I would call an A-line-Ballgown hybrid. The fabric is full and the pleats hide any tummy problems we as brides get paranoid about on our big day! Oh, and the pockets are SUPER fun!
It comes with a built in crinoline which I find to be sufficient in itself, so I will be wearing a slim fit slip instead of the hot, poufy crinoline skirt the sales agents try to get you to wear.
I will also be having a French Underbustle sewn in.
All in all, I love this dress, and I would without hesitation encourage anyone considering this gown to purchase it. I know I am going to look fabulous on my wedding day, and so will you.
I can't upload a picture of myself in the dress yet, but I'll try to remember to post one after my wedding!

love it
This was the 6th dress I tried on and the only one in which I was glowing. I absolutely love it. I love the bow but I am wondering what it will look like without the bow. Does anyone have a picture minus the bow?

8 years of knowing what I wanted, GONE.
I'm one of those brides that has been a bridesmaid MANY times before and because of that, I've had my wedding planned out for ages. Really. Since I was 16. Just fill in the groom. I was in a Dallas store with one of my bridesmaids, (who I am going to be a bridesmaid for in June) and we were only in to try on bridesmaid dresses, because there were no available appointment times. A consultant asked us if she could help because she had a slot open! I asked if I could try on dresses for my May wedding... I'd only been engaged for 9 days! I wanted to try on the dress that I've always envisioned, but the bridesmaid with me already bought that one... I wanted to try it anyway. It was all wrong for me, but perfect for her. I tried on the one the consultant thought would work next, and it was pretty and soft, but not for me! This dress was the 3rd one I tried... and I didn't want to take it off. I tried on veils with this one and found my perfect wedding look. The consultant told me about a bride who was moving the bow to the back, and I decided that was the missing touch for my own to create a cleaner silhouette. I'm getting it in white with an Alencon lace mantilla veil. The 4th dress didn't even compare. I bought this one the next day with my parents at a Houston store... with both of them smiling and crying. Me? I just couldn't stop smiling!
