Almost Doesn't Count.... I went in expecting amazing things from this dress. It was the only ball gown I had chosen and I was drawn to it! I tried on some of my other choices first during my appointment and then told the consultant that I definitely needed to try this one on. Everyone talks about that feeling they get when they are drawn to a dress and it's usually the one... well almost but that doesn't count does it? Needless to say I loved the look, the simplicity, the bow and it looked good on me. But I HATED the fabric. It seems like when they were designing the dress that they almost had an amazing dress and towards the end said "eh this fabirc will do". The material is hard and coarse and under advice from my consultant, she said that it doesn't press out nicely and will probably remain wrinkled. It's almost like they took cheap curtains or bedsheets and made a wedding dress out of it. Overall, I walked away from this dress because of the fabric. You definitely cannot tell from the pictures that it's not a normal fabric they make wedding gowns out of. It was such a disappointment for me. October 3, 2011
Love the way this dress makes me feel! My mother helped me choose this beautiful dress. I tried several on and loved them all but none compared to the way this dress made me feel. I feel young and flirty and playful. We are getting married in Mexico and this dress is so light and airy it will be perfect. The things I loved about this dress were the pockets, the fabric and the dramatic amount of billowy fabric! The only thing I have changed is removing the bow and adding a flower because it matches my wedding and me more than a bow. September 12, 2011
Simple but elegant We had an outdoor wedding, late July in FL. After the ceremony we went inside the ballroom for the reception. The dress was great since it was simple but elegant. I added a crystal belt, gold buttons down the back and removed the rhinestone buckle on the bow and used a gold flower brooch instead. Our colors were ivory, gold and truffle so I wanted the dress to 'pop' a little. I loved it! September 3, 2011
Absolutely stunning! My wedding was an outdoor, evening August wedding. It was the perfect dress for the occasion, with just enough casual for outside, and just enough elegance for an evening wedding. My bridesmaids and flower girl all had pocket dresses as well, so it made for cute pictures! This dress is so flattering on me. I'm a size 0 normally, but I'm 5'1" and a D cup and thought it would make me look shorter. To the contrary... It was the fourth dress I tried on, and after I started comparing other dresses to it, I knew I had to have it! Get it in ivory with the train on it, and DEFINITELY get it bustled for the reception.
