Absolutely Fabulous
I just returned from my first fitting, and I am absolutely ecstatic! I saw this dress online and thought it was lovely. It's not easy to find clothing for a big beautiful woman, much less a wedding dress. I was so scared to go into the store and try the dress on. The sales people and alteration staff made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. They were wonderful! The sample dress in the store was a champagne duster over an ivory dress. I didn't really like that combination, so I ordered mine in all ivory. When I put my dress on, it fit like a glove. The dress is absolutely spectacular. There is just the right amount of beading on the bodice. The duster is truly fabulous. The dress is lined and already fitted with the crinolines. It's sexy without the duster, but really soft and elegant with it. I felt as beautiful as the 21-year-old, size 8 bride who stood next to me in front of the mirror while she was trying on her gown. My dress is absolutely fabulous! Thanks David Bridal for remembering that us "big girls" need to feel beautiful, too!

Dress of my Dreams!
When I first started to look for a dress, I was sure there wouldn't be anything I would like. I have always been modest, and most dresses today are not modest. I dreamed of a dress with long lace sleeves like I had drawn as a little girl. My search on this website saw my dream come true. THIS was the dress in my dreams. I felt exactly how I thought I would feel. Wish my mom had been alive to see it. This was for you, mom!
