I'm in love!
After many tries and fails, I asked to try this dress on, even though it was 10 sizes bigger than I am. Boy, am I glad I did. It is amazing. I read on a website it had an "vintage Italian" feel and that describes it to a tee. The beading and lacework is amazing, adding a truly heirloom feel to it. I have had alterations done and haven't had much problem. The dress fits perfectly and does not fall. I do have a larger chest (size 4, 34C) so they had to take it out at the bust but in at the waist. I went in wanting a trumpet, but I feel like this is the perfect mix between a trumpet and an A line. It's tight all the way to the bottom of my hips and then flares. The bustle is my favorite part! It almost looks like tail feathers with all the tulle coming together. Every time I've put it on I've fallen in love with it again. I cannot wait to wear it for real on July 30th, 2011!!

Elegant and Gorgeous
I was on a budget for my wedding so I wanted to get my dress at David's Bridal, but didn't really see any styles that I liked. Until this one came out, that is. I immediately loved how unique and whimsical yet classy this dress looked. I went in to David's Bridal and tried it on first. Everyone in the store was telling me how beautiful it was and how it would be the dress for me. I wasn't quite ready to commit though so I tried on about 10 more dresses. You (hopefully) only go wedding dress shopping once in your life, right?
I tried this dress on again at the end and didn't want to take it off. The beading and the lace are so gorgeous. Everyone was right this was my dress! I tried it on in ivory but ordered it in white, and it looks spectacular. Now I can't wait for the big day!

Beautiful but Difficult
I wore this dress for my July 23, 2010 wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and I really loved it. However, alterations on this dress were impossible. I like to dance, and the dress would not stay up on me. I think the dress should have been made with a built in corset or more boning. I wore a size six dress and had to have wide elastic corset style straps (that I actually took out of a dress from a thrift shop) sewn into the dress to keep it from falling down when I danced. Another flaw I found was that this dress didn't lend itself to being bustled. When you bring the dress up for a bustle the ruffle layers don't lay neatly. Lastly, because I'm 5'3" I had to have the dress shortened. In order to shorten the dress they had to alter the ruffles on the bottom and it did slightly change the look/evenness of the dress. Ultimately, I loved this dress, but along the alteration process I was on the verge of purchasing another dress. So be prepared to have some patience if the dress doesn't fit you perfectly, because alterations may be more difficult than you'd think. But I'm sure if you stick it out, you'll be happy!

Stunning
A far cry from the standard satin or lace gowns that all seem to look alike. This is the perfect combination of tulle and beadwork, both elegant and modern. You cant take your eyes off the details. The train is stunning (though I would have loved it even longer) and it is a beautiful from the back as it is from the front.
