Love this Dress
I had been eyeing this dress for months when I had been going to David's to help my friend plan her wedding, so when I got engaged in December I knew I had to try this dress on. My mom, grandma, and aunt were kind of iffy about it, and they didn't like the picture online either, but I insisted to my consultant that I had to try this dress on. It was the first one I put on and it was amazing! The pictures do not do the dress justice. Even the pictures we took with our own camera don't do it justice. I knew it was "the dress" but I had to try on more to appease everyone I was with. There was one other dress that everyone (but me) actually liked more, but I knew I had to be the one happy with the dress at the end of the day. I ended up buying this dress off the rack and needing no other alterations but a bustle. I am so excited to pick my dress up in March and get married in May. The only thing that worries me, is going to be my ability to get this dress on a plane!

Exquisite!
It was my 4th trip or so to the store. I had gone alone the trip before and thought I'd found the perfect dress. Ivory Chiffon, Empire waist, nice roushing that made me look taller & thinner. Plain...like me. So this time I bought my 24 y/o daughter at who's wedding in 2009 I met my fiance. She liked the dress but I tried on a few more just to be certain. As a last resort I asked for this Oleg gown from the manequin...figuring they wouldn't have my size. They did...it fit perfectly and when I came out of the dressing room and my daughter saw me, she started crying (I thought stuff like that only happened on TV). This was THE gown. I never would have thought of myself in something so frilly and detailed, but it is GORGEOUS! I feel so beautiful in this gown. The hard part...waiting 9 months for the wedding so I can wear it.

LOVE THE DRESS
I was not at all interested in this dress in the catalog, or when the attendant brought it to me. Once I tried it on, I knew this was it. My mother kept saying "you can find another dress for a little less", so when I had my bridesmaids, mother and mother n law there to see me with it on-they all cried. It's so beautiful. I wanted something "modern vintage" and this was the perfect fit for me!

Sooo absolutely amazing!!
Just from looking at pictures I was pretty sure that this would be the dress. Went I went into David's too look at bridesmaid colors and what matched my vision best, I couldn't help but try the dress on even though my wedding is not until June 2012!! I tried it on and could not believe how PERFECT it fit and looked and felt (other than it being a tad short, but I'm almost 6 feet tall so I expect that)! I did not want to take it off!! The consultant encouraged me to try on 2 others, so I did, but there was no doubt. The silouhette is amazing, the detail is incredible!!! And the uniqueness is exactly what I wanted. In addition, unlike many dresses, the beautiful detail surrounds the dress, it's not just in the front! I went in a week later with my roommate and we sent tons of photos to my mom and grandma. Everyone loved it and I couldn't stop crying! I can't wait until it comes in (I had to order 4 inches extra length)!!! I look at a picture of it everyday either online or in the beautiful Oleg Cassini coffee table book I got for free with my purchase!
