So excited to finally review this gown!
My husband and I moved to Germany last September, 9 whole months before our wedding. I had a week with my family before we moved to find my dress. If I didn't find it, I would have to search by myself in a new country. Talk about stress! We started at boutiques closeby and found incredibly expensive gowns and salespeople who were none too excited to let you see anything. When we came to DB, we saw this dress in the front window and just said "wow, look at that". But it wasn't what I had in mind. I looked through catalogues and skipped right over this. I tried on so many dresses and hadn't found "the one". My mom asked for the one in the window just for fun and a change of style. I couldn't believe it. Even 10 sizes too big, this dress suddenly transformed me...I knew I would marry my best friend in it, and the dress helped me plan all the decorations too! All of Oleg Cassini's dresses are so flattering, and for us small-chested brides, they fit well up top. We had a beautiful wedding and a reception in a Queen Anne Victorian house. This dress looks like an heirloom that the grandchildren would actually WANT to wear. Perfect.....

Surprisingly Amazing
I had tried on several different types of conventional dresses, mostly of the 'plain' type. When the DB sales girl handed me this "different" type of dress to try on, I about laughed my pants off - I thought it was weird! Look at all those layers, I thought, a cat would sure love to play with that! But once I put it on, WOW! What a dress! Nothing compared to it out of the dresses. I immediatly had to ask around, "is this just me, or is this great?".... Odly shows off the right curves and minimizes the hips and rear end very well. I would recommend you 'try' it... you may very well find it surprisingly amazing! :)

So Suprising!
I went into the store really mixed with feelings because I am a plain jane not really into dresses and detail on things but I put this on and was so suprised at how much I liked it! :) I didn't have that crying moment that everyone has but I was suprised and excited and that was enough for me. The dress is beautiful and will fit in so well with the old hotel venue we have selected. It is not at all what I thought I would pick but it was a great buy!

Amazing
This dress is so beautiful. Honestly I hated it on the mannequin. I told my cousin that I was not trying it on. Then I saw it in the catalog and didn't know it was the same dress. It was the 2nd or 3rd dress I tried on and I just kept going back to it. I'm about an 18 but they only had it in a 16 and it fit but was just a little tight but I love it. Its so light and didn't weigh me down. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day. it's so beautiful.
