Beautiful dress!
The dress was beautiful! I do wish the jacket had sleeves though! Also, I don't recommend using a dark color ribbon around the waist. It tended to cut me in half in funny ways that I didn't realize until I saw the photos. The dress is light for a wedding gown, easy to move it, does not restrict anything and is pretty comfortable. I felt beautiful wearing it and I wish I had excuse to wear it again! Perfect!

Great Dress
This dress is really gorgeous in person. Very flattering to curvy brides! I feel it may be too plain - the dress has small beading/rhinestones throughout and a small line of beading at the top/neckline. The bolero can be flattering but can also make you feel like your arms are sausages (the sleeves end right past the tip of the shoulder - potentially the largest part of your arm). The dress has boning and some tulle to give it shape. It hangs very nicely. I tried the Ivory lace over Ivory satin and felt the lace was washed out by the background. It comes with an ivory belt but makes it seem very "Blah". My suggestion? Spice it up with a colored sash and some bright pumps.... Saw some pictures where people dyed the tulle underneath! Can be fabulous, may just have to dress it up!

Love at 2nd site
I tried this dress on 2 x's. The first time it was just me and my BFF (about a month ago). We went in with the expectation to narrow down the number of selections for my 2nd appointment with all my bridal party along with the "moms".
The 1st time, I wore the jacket, I wasn't thrilled by it. I cast it aside. I did find a dress I thought was "The One".
During my 2nd appointment I tried on my winning dress, but my future mom in law couldn't envision the "tea-length". Not to mention everyone was very "eh" about it. So to give her an idea, I tried this dress on again. This time, I put a watermelon sash on w/o the jacket, matching peep toes (watermelon), my birdcage veil and voila my dream dress came true!! I was soo happy. My mom was crying, my mom in law was so stunned and my bridal party...well let's just say there wasn't enough tissue to go around.
This just goes to show you everything deserves a 2nd chance. I bought my dress w/o hesitation and I couldn't be happier. Thanks DB!!!

This dress is fun!
I wanted a dress that wasn't fussy or overdone, so I had pretty much resigned myself to a simple chiffon number. I tried this one on last, but I didn't think it would flatter my shape. I was wrong, and this dress is gorgeous.
In person, it actually sparkles. It's chic but also sort of retro, and I plain love it.
I'm 5'10", so the length is perfect, but if you're shorter you may want to get it hemmed. I'm getting it altered so that the shrug can be fastened to the dress (it's one of my favorite parts).
I love that I can wear awesome heels and everyone will be able to see them! A+++!!
