Dream Gown
This is the perfect gown for me! Here I am, over 60 years old and head over heels with my fiance. He and I are getting married in late July, and I thought I would just wear a pretty dress I just bought. However, for my first wedding, I never got to go wedding gown shopping so his older daugher, her boyfriend and I hit David's Bridal and looked for tea length gowns. I tried on two, and this one is it! It's perfect for our outdoor wedding at our house. I even selected blue satin flip flops to go with it! It's comfortable and fit me so well that not even a stitch is necessary. I'm petite, and the tea length is actually a perfect floor length for me. I can't wait to wear it for my Sam!!!!! They took a picture and sent it to my daughter in Chicago and she gave her approval!

Beautiful!!!
I purchased this gown for my February 2012 wedding. We got married in Michigan, so many people thought I was crazy for buying a tea-length gown, but it was absolutely beautiful in every way and quite comfortable as well. I actually got warm while dancing at our wedding reception despite the length of my gown! The dress flattered my figure and had just the right amount of sparkle, thanks to the small clear beads that are sewn on the lace overlay. I wore a light blue sash around my waist (tied into a small bow, sitting off to the side in the front) which added a nice pop of color. I had to have the skirt shortened because I'm 5"4'. The David's Bridal alterations person did a great job. She trimmed the bottom of the lace off and then sewed it back on after shortening the dress so that the scalloped edge remained intact. I can't complain about a single thing. I LOVE MY WEDDING GOWN!!!

Love, love, love this dress.
My fianc�� and I were planning our dream wedding in September. I had purchased a different dress from DB. I loved the dress that I purchased, however the traditional wedding we were planning fell through after a quick trip to City Hall to work out some health insurance issues through work, and then unexpected financial burdens. We quickly changed pace and decided to go with an informal reception, however my chapel length train and really formal dresses was not going to work. I was devastated, and I signed the receipt saying " all sales final." I thought it couldn't hurt to ask, and the nice manager at my local DB agreed to exchange the dress for another one. This was the only dress I tried on. It's beautiful and perfect! It really has a vintage feel, and I had already purchased the Maribelle shoes in regency color, so I ordered the same color sash for the dress. The darker sash really accentuated the hourglass figure, and made my waist look tiny! I love the sparkle and the fun of this dress. I think I like it better than the other dress! It changed my whole attitude about the wedding, and made me so happy! I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day, and I love the dress so much I think I will dye it another color after the wedding so that I can wear it for different occasions.

Beautiful dress!
The dress was beautiful! I do wish the jacket had sleeves though! Also, I don't recommend using a dark color ribbon around the waist. It tended to cut me in half in funny ways that I didn't realize until I saw the photos. The dress is light for a wedding gown, easy to move it, does not restrict anything and is pretty comfortable. I felt beautiful wearing it and I wish I had excuse to wear it again! Perfect!
