Great Fit
I purchased this dress for my vintage wedding. The bodice has boning in it for a great fit and it looks amazing with cowboy boots! I did swap out the ribbon belt for one with more substance, but it is beautiful with or with out the shrug!

Beautiful dress for simple event
The dress was the perfect length for me (I'm 5'4). I wore a 20W and needed to open the bust a bit (I'm 42 DDD).
It needs something to draw the eye to the waist since it was a little loose. I didn't want to take it in bc comfort matters but I still wanted to create an hourglass figure. So I chose a cameo brooch. Another great way to wear this dress was to tie the sash in front and off to the side - and then put a big colorful flower pin.
Also, I asked the tailors to put a hook and eye on the bolero so that it wouldn't move and it was awesome. I totally recommend it so that it always looks good while guests click pictures.
FYI - The lace and sparkle detail doesn't come through in low resolution pictures. So I took off a point.

love this dress
i tried on a lot of dresses and i was looking for something that wasn't to much dress and that wasn't to long and this dress by far was the better pick...............so i said yes to the dress rang the bell and got my dress the experience was fun...............and my consultant was so nice i would always refer to DB's when looking for a dress..................thank you

This is it.
Love. The pictures on line and in the book do not do this dress justice. Even on the hangar it's not as spectacular as it is on. Extremely flattering. I didn't have any issue with the jacket and I tried on one size smaller than they ordered for me. Very nostalgic in that it reminds me of my mom's dress. This is for a 20th anniversay vow renewal and I know my hubby will be blown away by the way I look in this. Will get the champagne sash to go with - makes it quite vintage and very elegant.
