Great Dress
My wedding is in June, and its my second wedding. I wanted a non-traditional dress but something that still was dressy. I tried this dress on first and fell in love with it. I am now waiting for it to come in. Can't wait to wear it and walk down the aisle. Its just perfect for a june wedding that is outside.

Gorgeous, feminine and flattering
It's my second time around and I did not want to do the whole long train, princess for a day thing since it felt inappropriate and over-the top. That being said, I did want to look beautiful!
At first I looked at empire waist dresses since, let's face it, I am older, rounder and grayer. This dress made my favorite list but I did not think I'd look great in it. Boy was I wrong!
When I showed up for my appointment and they showed us to the fitting area, I cringed to be between two young, thin brides and their large female contingents. My fiance was the only man in the place. But I put on my game face and tried on one dress that was not flattering at all. Then I put this dress on and simply fell in love. Even the neighboring brides commented on how stunning this dress is...
I thought I'd be a plus size but was able to fit in a regular size. I had the cap-sleeve jacket altered a bit and had the ribbon tacked on the waist so I wouldn't have a bow or tie to deal with.
In addition, I bought a matching ivory 3/4 sleeve shrug jacket so I can wear that during the ceremony and then switch to the lace shrug for the reception.
And I plan to wear cowboy boots in ivory - I live in them so it seems fitting to get married in them too - and this dress is a perfect style. Plus I can see wearing this dress again for other formal events - it doesn't scream "wedding dress" at all.
All in all, it is very comfortable, extremely flattering and beautiful in a fancy yet understated way. I can't wait to wear it!

I Knew It Would Be Perfect
I needed a dress for our 25th wedding anniversary. I saw this dress the first time I checked David's website and had that unexplainable feeling in my gut that this would be the dress for me.
I originally thought I wanted "white" again but when I saw how beautiful the dress is in ivory and how well it suited my complexion, I was sold. It fits perfectly and hides any "figure flaws". Didn't even bother trying on other dresses.
Only one problem- being patient while waiting to wear it!

My first pick!
This is the first dress I tried on because I saw it online and fell in love.
We are having a Vegas wedding and I wanted something shorter.
I tried this one on first and then I obliged everyone else that I brought and tried on about 12 more, but I kept going back to this one.
I did make 2 alterations to it....mostly because I wasn't too eager about strapless....first I changed the neckline to a sweetheart and I turned the jacket into cap sleeves. I love love love the dress itself tho. It is flattering to a bigger and chesty figure!
