So Happy This is a beautiful and elegant dress and yet perfect for an outdoor wedding! I felt amazing comfortable and best of all as a plus size bride it was the best dress at David's bridal! June 29, 2014
Beautiful Dress This dress is beautiful, and I loved wearing it. I didn't think I'd find a dress that fit as wonderfully as this dress did! The price was right as well :) June 24, 2014
Yay! I ordered this dress, just not in a petite size. In fact, I'm rather tall and I have a horrid time finding dresses for any occasion. To that end, I had given up on finding a classy dress and figured I'd need something quirky or off-kilter as is usually the case, so as to avoid looking like a potato sack. I had originally traveled to a location to try a dress not stocked at my local Davids. I was POSITIVE this was the dress, ended up looking like a fish in it. A literal fish. Out of nowhere my mom just reaches into the rack of a zillion dresses and pulls this little number out. We didn't even look at it, just decided to toss it on, and voila! I was done, hook, line, and sinker. No alterations needed, no medieval torture device undergarments. June 13, 2014
Fell In Love I went to my appointment with David's Bridal with very little idea of what I wanted. I didn't think I wanted a strapless, or beading, and I wasn't really sure what fabrics I would like. I had seen this dress online and since the consultant couldn't pull up my favorites, she handed me the book and asked me to point some out. I liked the side slit with different material underneath so I pointed out this one. I was already excited when I saw her bring it over, but putting it on completely surprised me. I LOVED the all-over lace and the beading was way more tasteful than I expected it to look. I even liked that it was strapless, the corset back held me in nicely, I didn't feel like it was going to slip down at all. I didn't think I'd want anything that showed my curves so much but this dress is just the perfect shape! It feels a little bit sexy, I'm kinda reminded of a white lace Jessica Rabbit. When I picked up my dress I decided to try it on without the slip just to see if it made a difference. The bustier comes down a little past my belly button so it holds in most lumps but when I looked in the mirror the dress showed some love handles I don't remember it showing the first time. So I would definitely advise wearing the slip and maybe some shapewear for your hips. This dress is just perfect for my "love story" theme, I can't wait for my fiance to see me in it! I had my consultant put straps on it but they kept slipping down, which I actually liked better! I'm considering adding off-the-shoulder straps to this, it kind of reminds me of Taylor Swift's dress in her "Love Story" music video. April 21, 2014
