Fun and Surprisingly Flattering
My wedding dress is a drop waist gown with ruffles. I was so excited to see a similar style bridesmaid dress online at David's Bridal. I had three of my bridesmaid try it. Their sizes were 6 with a height of 5' 10", 14 with a height of 5' 1", and 24 with a height of 5' 2". Surprisingly, it worked on all the body types. The drop waist is very flattering and the rouching of the organza helped cover up any problem areas. However, it was especially stunning on the maids who were size 6 and 14. If I choose to incorporate this dress in my wedding, I may include the other organza dress that does not have as fitted of a body for my more self-conscious bridesmaids. This dress could be an issue if you carry a lot of weight in the hip or tummy. On the downside, my maids agreed that the dress needed a sash. This may be something you want to consider if you like this dress. I also wish it came in more colors such as Peacock or Sangria.
