My unexpected choice! I thought when I went gown shopping I would go for a white, ruched silk dress with a sweetheart neckline. I tried this dress on and knew it was the one--even though I had thought lace "wasn't me"! When I came out my mom and two best friends started immediately crying and I knew this was it. The lace is incredibly soft, and it fits like a glove! Also because there is a side zip, and the way the ruching goes along the back, it will make your butt look awesome!! It hides any insecurities you might have, and will make you feel fabulous! September 15, 2011
Not what I expected: In a good way! I had viewed this dress online and wasn't all that impressed with it. The pictures do not do it justice. The way this dress is made with the angling of the lace, is very figure flattering. I love the attention to detail with the Chantilly lace. This dress is simple, but at the same time elegant and timeless. It is easy to mix it up too; just add a sash and it looks like a completely differnt dress! September 6, 2011
love it I just got home from db. I went in knowing I wanted a lace dress and something that flatters my curves but keeps my waist small. I am 5'3 and 117 pounds but I have hips . This was the second dress I tried on and it was perfect !! It slims u and adds some height and isn't too heavy . I am getting married in a hot country so I kept that in mind . July 21, 2011
LOVE LOVE LOVE I told the DB Consultant what I was looking for, which was: something simple, timeless, and lacey. We went from a huge wedding, to an intimate wedding, so something that would fit the wedding and not be too dramatic. Showed her the Vera Wang: V Neck Satin Corset Gown with Grosgrain Sash as something I wanted to try on and asked if the loose hanging fabric could be removed. Needless to say, that was the first dress I tried on...didn't care for the fit, was big on top and felt stuffy with the material. The consultant then gave me this gorgeous V.W. Strapless Draped Lace Column Gown. I wasn't jumping up and down, I thought - Love the lace, looks pretty on the hanger, but ehh, I'll try it. It was the second dress I tried on and "IT WAS THE ONE!" It is SO "me," classic, timeless, simple, and gorgeous. I have hips and a tush, so it flattered me in those areas/assets. I'm 5'2'' and it still looked good on me...you don't have to be tall like the model in the photo. I was the first to try on the dress, since they just got it in the store and am the first to buy! SOOOO happy I waited so late to get my dress =) June 28, 2011
