Comfortable and Flattering! This dress was absolutely beautiful. It was comfortable and very flattering. It gave me the perfect hourglass figure! As soon as I tried it on I fell in love! The lace is incredible! I added a simple, champagne ribbon for the sash and had my seamstress friend figure out a way to bustle it (I wouldn't suggest having your dress fitted or altered at David's Bridal - it often ends up costing more than the dress when all the hidden costs add up). My only complaints are that the dress doesn't come with any way to put up the train and the back accentuates back chub a bit. Other than that, the dress was absolutely perfect. I wouldn't have wanted to get married in anything else! Good luck in your search! August 12, 2013
Perfect This is a beautiful, classic and simple dress. I didn't buy the belt and chose to add straps instead. I feel like myself in it. Looks way better in person than in pictures. The fabric is a really nice quality. Its 100% lace without being too much since its very delicate. This was only the 2nd dess i ever tried and i knew it was the right one for me. August 1, 2013
I have big hips... and my hips were always the thing that made me self-conscious. But, my now husband, is very into Greek history so the curvy Grecian woman is his thing. So I guess I lucked out. When I started looking at dresses, I originally went for empire waist-ed halter top dresses to cascade over my hips. I went dress shopping alone; after many failed gowns, my consultant said "tell me what you think your husband would like." "Oh, he thinks I'm his Grecian goddess." She came back with this gown. I never thought I'd be caught dead in something that skirted my body ever so slightly. It hugs in all the right places. If you have a bit of a booty, it plays it up. The ruching on the hips does wonders. The neckline is not to revealing. For the first time in a long time, I saw what my husband saw: me. And I loved me...especially, in that dress. I say if you self-conscious about your lower body and dresses that cling, give this one a shot even if you just try it on to see how you feel about this dress style. June 19, 2013
Second time was the charm So I went back to David's even though I had already purchased a dress a month ago. I had doubts and needed to try on a few more. When I saw this dress online I really liked it & knew I had to try in on in the store. Once I did I just felt amazing. I loved how it looked, it wasn't heavy or bulky which is good b/c I am doing a destination wedding on the beach & don't want to be hot & uncomfortable. The pictures don't truly show how pretty the lace is. Adding a few accessories also helps give it a different look. I am so excited to walk down aisle in Nov. in this dress. June 18, 2013
